<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the cost by setting a start value and a saturated value of frame difference to change the sensitivity thereby obtaining a motion quantity and reducing a capacity of an arithmetic operation processing use ROM. CONSTITUTION:An arithmetic operation circuit 13 applies subtraction processing to an output of a frame difference detection circuit 2 and a prescribed value of a setting circuit 11 and gives the result to an arithmetic operation circuit 15. Furthermore, an arithmetic operation circuit 14 applies addition processing to an output of an edge detection circuit 3 and a prescribed value of a setting circuit 12 and gives the result to the arithmetic operation circuit 15. The arithmetic operation circuit 15 implements division processing at a low sensitivity characteristic. When a high sensitivity signal is inputted to an input terminal 5, the prescribed value setting circuits 11, 12 give the high sensitivity start and saturation values respectively to the arithmetic operation circuits 13, 14, in which subtraction processing and addition processing are implemented, the arithmetic operation processing circuit 15 implements the division processing with a high sensitivity characteristic to obtain a motion quantity. Thus, the circuit scale is reduced and the cost is reduced by obtaining the motion quantity through the changeover of the arithmetic operation processing of the arithmetic operation circuit 15.</p> |
