The lock comprises a pair of discs (7), with segmental recesses (76) in their edges, which are rotated independently by a key. The two discs overlap a third disc (67) which may slide axially when the angular setting of the first two discs is such that their segmental recesses correspond with the edge of the third disc. Axial movement of the third disc releases a sliding latch (5). Access to the key apertures is through holes (59) in the latch so arranged that only one of the discs may be tuned with the key at a time. Opening by manipulation is thus impossible. When locked, the latch may slide to a small extent to open one or other of the key holes.
|
