PURPOSE:To make it possible to take very effective countermeasures, by connecting a condition of breaking condition satisfaction in series with a trip coil and detecting the unbreakable state from the node of the connection. CONSTITUTION:When a circuit breaker 2 becomes incapable of breaking, a contact 8 is opened. Therefore, a state detection relay 10 is de-energized and a contact 11 of the relay 10 is closed. When a trip instruction contact 13 is closed, the energization of the trip coil 6 is hindered because the contact 8 is open. Instead, a trip instruction line 14 is energized through a contact 11. since the trip instruction line 14 remains connected to a trip coil of a superior circuit breaker 1, the breaker 1 is tripped. Thus, the range affected by a trouble can be minimized against a trip instruction when the circuit breaker 2 cannot perform breaking. |
