<p>A regulated variable frequency inverter (10) provides power to an electroluminescent lamp (33). The lamp (33) is subject to capacitive decay over time which causes brightness to diminish. A volatge feedback circuit (32) responds to any change in the lamp's capacitance to vary the inverter frequency so as to maintain the light intensity of the lamp (33) at a uniform level.</p> |
