A contact-making device between an apparatus which is intended for multiple use and a consumable article which can be used one or a few times, for example between a holder for pyrotechnic display ammunition and a multiple ammunition plate. The contact device on the side of the consumable article is arranged on a board in such a manner that it forms a free contact surface facing away from the board, for example as a solder eye consisting of soft material. The associated contact device of the apparatus has opposite it an abutment which can move relative to the contact device in such a manner that the board, with the solder eye, can be clamped between the contact device of the apparatus and its abutment in order to produce the contact force. When this contact force is applied, sharp edges in the contact surface of the contact device on the apparatus side break through a possible oxide or dirt layer on the contact surface of the consumable article. A large number of contact devices of the apparatus are enclosed in a foam-rubber sheet which, in the contact position of the arrangement, rests on the board in a sealing manner. The parts of the contact-making device on the apparatus side are connected to the apparatus in a moving manner by means of devices for connection of the consumable article, so that, when the apparatus is closed after insertion of the article, they move automatically into the contact position.
