PURPOSE:To enhance the flexual strength and compressive breaking strength by a method wherein, in a laminated product having a series of reinforcing prepreg sheets arranged lengthwise in such a manner that the fibers thereof are oriented uniaxially, a specific angle is formed between the longitudinal direction of tape and the orientation of the fibers. CONSTITUTION:The prepreg sheet tape for reinforcing the laminated prepreg sheet useful for making fishing rod, golf shaft and other cylindrical body is formed by arranging and laminating a series of reinforcing prepreg sheets 2-a whose fibers are oriented uniaxially. The reinforcing prepreg is cut into a predetermined length and the cut pieces are arranged lengthwise on release paper 4-a, then temporarily fastened thereto by an iron and thereafter bonded thereto under a heating roller to produce a tape with the release paper 4-a. At this time, an angle theta formed between the longitudinal direction of the tape and the orientation of the fibers is set within the range of 82 deg.<=theta<=88 deg. to increase the strength. |
