<p>PURPOSE:To provide a moisture meter in which the enlargement of measuring spot is suppressed by fixing a recovery reflecting member on the inside of a recessed reflecting body. CONSTITUTION:A recovery reflecting member 30 is fixed on the inside of recessed reflecting bodies 20 and 21 by adhesives. Thanks to such a construction, a part of light that transmits a paper 3 after entering an optical tube 5 reaches a detector 12. Almost all the rest of the light scatter and return to a first scattering position by the member 50 fixed on the reflecting surface. Therefore, a spot diameter of light is left as it is. Then, a part of the light returning to the irradiated position reflects thereon to reach the detector 12 again, while the other parts thereof scatter and reflect on the member 50 to return the original irradiated position. Through such repetitive operation, multiple scattering can be repeated without enlarging a spot diameter (measuring area), thereby providing a moisture meter with high sensitivity and excellent quality in paper.</p> |
