<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a video signal recorder capable of prohibiting the use of information included in a reproduced video signal and set inappropriately for use by performing recording/reproduction, for example, time information. CONSTITUTION:This recorder is provided with a cable box 1 to perform the reception channel selection of a CATV signal, and a VCR 2. BVI data is sampled from the output video signal of a tuner 20 by a data decoder 21, and it is supplied to a microcomputer 22 after applying decode processing. When the time information is detected from the VBI data, the microcomputer 22 controls an ID attaching circuit 30, and attaches an index signal on the video signal. Therefore, when the time information is supplied as the VBI data, the index signal is attached on the video signal, then, it is recorded on a magnetic tape 29. When the index signal is attached on the reproduced video signal, erroneous information can be prevented from being used by prohibiting the use of the time information sampled from the reproduced video signal.</p> |
