PURPOSE:To improve operability of an equipment by detecting the card by a photosensor in case it is already inserted when the power supply is turned on, and displaying to urge the operator to re-insert. CONSTITUTION:LEDs 31 and 33 for card data A and B are respectively turned on to start the detecting by the photosensors 30 and 32. Turning on/off of the card data signals A and B, from the sensors 30 and 32 is discriminated. If either or both of the signals A and B is or are turned off by the card, '...EE...' is displayed on the displayer. But when both are turned on, '...P...' that shows the nonexistence of the card is displayed. When the card is inserted, the data in the card is read, and from the said data, the card is discriminated as a con trol card or division card. If it is a control card, processing in price setting mode, upper limit setting mode, and deletion mode are executed. If it is a divi sion card, processings of plural division mode are executed. |
