<p>PURPOSE: To efficiently perform a polluted water treatment by hydrodynamic actions by a method wherein circulation velocity is accelerated on the flowing out side to impart kinetic energy to a spherical material of small diameter to maintain the circulation of the spherical material against the treated water which has been treated and flows out. CONSTITUTION: Waste water flows from an inlet 2 and is circulated by the bubbles blowing out from a bubbling-out pipe 4 and a large number of spherical materials of small diameter 9, in the through holes of which bacteria are provided, are fed into the polluted water so as to be circulated therewith. And a flow acceleration board 7 is disposed between a flow deflection board 6 and an upward flow straightening board 5 so as to be located slightly closer to the board 6, so that the interval (a) between the upper part (m) of the board 7 and the board 6 is larger than the interval (b) between the lower end of the board 7 and the board 6. As a result, a downward flow passing near the board 6 is accelerated between the boards 6, 7 so that the polluted water is circulated counterclockwise at a high velocity, and hence the materials 9 are carried and circulated by the flow, while the circulation is maintained.</p> |
