<p>PURPOSE: To prevent serious troubles such as defective printing or letter lacking by informing an accident such that a printed paper is discharged as the folded one, or as the paper printed on the folded one. CONSTITUTION: A pair of folded paper sensors 21 and 22 is arranged at a position through which both end portions of a paper near a stacker 16 are passed, then, it is recognized that the paper has a front folding when a time-lag between the time necessary for the paper 23 to reach the sensor 21 for detecting a folded paper and that time to reach the sensor 22 is longer than the regular one, while, it is recognized that the paper has a rear folding when a time-lag shown in the passage of the paper 23 from the sensors 21 to 22 is longer than the legular one.</p> |
