<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a safe plant-culturing equipment which can keep the plant at its optimal temperature regardless of cold or hot ones with low capital and energy costs required for temperature control and does not need the space therefor because of its small size. CONSTITUTION: This plant-culturing equipment comprises a tray 20, a thermo-element 30, a radiator 40, a waste heat fun 50 and a control unit 60 and the thermo-element 30 is brought into close contact through an insulating base plate with the tray 20 as well as into close contact through an insulating base to the radiator 40. The radiator 40 has a number of fins on its back. The waste heat fan 50 continuously allows the air around the radiator 40 to forcibly move and exhaust and is always driven, while the heat is retained, and is controlled by the timer so that it may continue its operation of heat radiation for a time enough to reach the temperature equilibrium, after the retaining operation is stopped. A polarity-converting switch is used to switch the current direction of the thermo-element 30 to convert the tray between the cool mode and the hot mode. The control circuit controls the electric current to the thermo-element 30 according to the information from the temperature sensor so that the tray 20 is kept within the prescribed temperature range.</p> |
