PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which realizes predetermined amount of power saving without much influencing on a temperature control mechanism of a refrigerating machine or an air conditioner. SOLUTION: A device comprises a current detector Se for monitoring the operational conditions of a machine MC which is subjected to forcible breaking, a breaker Re for forcibly breaking the operating condition of the machine MC, and a timing controller for controlling operational timing of the breaker Re. The timing controller comprises a first means for effecting inrush into a control mode at every given control period, a second means for effecting stand-by condition in the control mode after the machine MC has been transferred into the operational condition until lapse of a given period of time, and a third means for operating thereafter the breaker Re when the machine MC is in the operational condition, and when in a non-operational condition, waiting until the machine MC is brought into the operational condition and then operating the breaker Re after lapse of a further given time. |
