MAGNETIC HEAD FOR MAGNETO-OPTICAL RECORDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to decrease the variations in holding strength and to easily improve holding accuracy by providing a head body with an escape to allow the flowing of a fixing resin to a flank part from a surface opposite to the recording medium side of a magnetic core. SOLUTION: The head body is provided with a main magnetic pole 11 of the magnetic core l fixed to the head body and a sliding part 31 having a sliding surface in contact with the optical disk surface. The magnetic core 1 is inserted with a coil bobbin 2 and is fixed to the head body 3. Coils 21 of insulated copper wires are wound around the coil bobbin 2. A terminal 5 is fixed with the coil end and is connected to a conductor. A resin which fixes the magnetic core 1, is of a natural curing type and changes less with lapse of time is used for the fixing resin 9. The magnetic core 1 is mounted together with the coil bobbin 2 wound with the coils to the head body 3 made of the resin and has the escape 12 into which the detaining resin from the flank part of the magnetic core 1 introduces on the head body 3. The resin holds the magnetic core 1 from its flank part and front surface part.
