PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording material which shows good light resistance and high ink absorption and further, is free form a problem with cracking. SOLUTION: This ink jet recording material has an ink receiving layer formed on a support, containing at least one kind of (A) a water-soluble polyvalent metallic salt and at least one kind selected from among (B) a thiourea compound, (C) saccharide, (D) a pyridine compound, (E) thioether, (F) a disulfide compound and (G) a thiazine compound. |
