FLAME-RETARDANT ADHESIVE MIXTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive mixture used for an adhesive layer of a flat cable or the like which contains no halogen and exhibits good flame retardancy, high adhesive properties and high electric characteristics. SOLUTION: The flame-retardant adhesive mixture, which comprises 100 pts. wt. of a copolyester resin and 100-250 pts. wt. of a non-halogen flame-retardant such as magnesium hydroxide, is used as an adhesive layer 2 constituting an adhesive film 3 of the flat cable or the like. As the copolyester resin, one comprised of an acid component containing 20-40 mol% of an aromatic carboxylic acid and 10-30 mol% of an aliphatic carboxylic acid and a glycol component containing 20-50 mol% of a total amount of ethylene glycol and/or neopentyl glycol (each mol% is based on 100 mol% of the copolyester resin) is used.
