PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive single-crystal growing vessel for growing a single crystal. SOLUTION: The vessel is composed so that inner cylindrical vessels 9a, 9b formed from platinum are housed in an autoclave 2. Therefore, for example when the autoclave 2 is made large, the cylindrical vessels 9a, 9b are not necessarily to be made large nor to be made thick-walled for obtaining mechanical strength of the cylindrical vessels 9a, 9b. Accordingly, the cylindrical vessels 9a, 9b, which are smaller than the autoclave 2, are manufactured at a lower cost by the reduced amount of use of an expensive material such as platinum.
