PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plating barrel in which a port frame provided on the side of a charge port for the object to be plated is not deformed. SOLUTION: In the plating barrel, the inside of a charge port 2 for the object to be plated in an almost polygonal cylindrical barrel body 3 is provided with a port frame 6, the port frame 6 is composed of a pair of long arm frame materials 26 in a circumferential direction elongating to the axial direction of the barrel body and a short arm frame material 27 connecting the long arm frame materials 26, and at least the inside of the long arm frame material 26 is provided with a reinforcing member 34 elongating to the axial direction of the barrel body.
