A variable rack stroke system for pinion shafts is provided to prevent an operation bar from being damaged by connecting the operation bar operated by the control signal of an ECU to the external of a steering housing. A variable rack stroke system for pinion shafts comprises: a guide unit(24) with a penetration hole, which is in parallel with a pinion shaft; a ball housing(21) with a guide ball(22); a guide groove(12) formed at the bottom of the pinion shaft; and a limit unit connected to the guide unit to limit the moving distance of the ball housing. The limit unit consists of: a limit portion to limit the moving distance of the ball housing while moving along the penetration hole of the guide unit; a connection rod to connect the limit unit; and an operation bar linked to the middle of the connection rod.
