Poly-2,3-dichlorobutadiene-1,3 intended for use as adhesives is treated, in organic solvent, with free-radical catalysts. The solvent is pref. a halogen-contg. hydrocarbon, pref. CCl4. The free-radical catalyst is pref. an organic peroxide and/or alpha, alpha-azoisobutyronitrile, used in amount of 0.2 to 10%. with respect to polymer. The treatment improves adhesives action of the polymer. |
