Dyeing is carried out by applying water-insoluble dye and submitting textile to dry heat treatment at pressure below atmospheric, e.g. 0.1-100 mm Hg-column, at 110-240 degrees C. Alternatively, cellulose material may be printed with water-insoluble dye and opt dried, and cellulose material pressed into contact with textile and combination submitted to dry heat treatment at below atmospheric pressure.
