<p>PURPOSE:RPMI 1640 medium substituting a thermally stable component in a medium preparation for unstable one, containing a buffering agent of an organic acid, exhibiting no reduction in supporting power of living tissue even by high- pressure sterilization treatment. CONSTITUTION:L-Glutamine and cystine are removed from the preparation of RPMI 1640, and cystine and a buffering agent of an organic acid consisting of a combination of an organic acid and its salt such as preferably a combination of succinic acid and sodium succinate or acetic acid and sodium acetate are added to the preparation instead of them.</p> |
