PURPOSE: To make no step difference on a part (a honing surface) with which a piston can make sliding contact in a cylinder bore. CONSTITUTION: In an aluminum-made plating cylinder block 1 provided with a cylinder bore 2 penetrating in a vertical direction, a honing surface 2a on which honing work is carried out in the inner wall of the cylinder bore 2 and a honing release surface 2b having a diameter larger than that of the honing surface 2a, are formed, and a plating layer is formed on at least the whole of the honing surface 2a. |
