<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage a channel group unit to be secured by setting a virtual channel to each destination subscriber node, securing a band in the unit of the virtual channels, putting together transfer of data from a relay node to other relay node or a destination subscriber node in the unit of virtual channel paths relaying the relay node and securing the band in the unit of channel groups. SOLUTION: Upon the receipt of a packet signal from a subscriber, each of subscriber interface circuits 111-113 refers to an address table from a destination address of the received packet, specifies an output port number and transmits data to a switch circuit 130. The data are switched based on the output port number, and in the case of loopback in its own station, data are looped back to other subscriber interface circuit, and in the case of communication at the outside of its own station, the data are fed to a trunk circuit 140. The trunk circuit 140 refers to the address table based on the destination address of the packet signal, specifies a destination subscriber node, uses a corresponding virtual channel and transmits the signal to a host relay node.</p> |
