The invention concerns a method for blind laying of a cable beneath a slab (14) such as a slab closing a silo storing harmful products, between two openings (24, 34). It consists in lowering a target (42) through one (24) of the openings and a gun (38) through the other (34); in directing the target (42) and the gun (38) towards each other, then in shooting with the gun a projectile such as a spear (40) towards the target, after fixing a rope (44) to the spear. After the target (42) has been brought up above the slab (14) and the spear (40) has been disconnected, fixing the cable to the other rope end and pulling thereon, through the opening (24) until the cable is laid.
