<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable bidirectional tilt to be detected with a unidirectional tilt sensor. <P>SOLUTION: An integration circuit 35 generates an Rad tilt calculation signal by integrating a Tan tilt detection signal outputted by a Tan (tangential) tilt sensor 17 with a rotation angle based on a rotation signal outputted by a spindle motor 2. An Rad coma aberration control means 36 controls the Rad coma aberration altering means based on the Rad tilt calculation signal, and a Tan coma aberration altering means 37 controls the Tan coma aberration altering means based on the Tan tilt detection signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
