PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ice storage amount sensing device capable of being mounted on a ceiling of an ice storage cabinet without using a clamping component and being easily removed from an interior of the cabinet. SOLUTION: A pair of elastically deformable pawls 22 and 23 are formed at both ends of an upper surface of a base body 21 of a sensing plate base 18. A circular arc 24 and a switch holder 25 are formed between the pawls 22 and 23. A recess is formed on a lower surface side of the body 21 by the arc 24 so as to be rotatable at a sensing plate 19 mounted on the base 18, and a reed switch 20 is detachably mounted at the holder 25. The ice storage amount sensing device is detachably engaged from the interior of an ice storage cabinet with an opening formed at an upper plate of the cabinet by the pawls 22 and 23 of the base 18.
