PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cationic electrodeposition coating capable of forming a coating film excellent in chipping resistance, corrosion-preventing property and finishing property. SOLUTION: This cationic electrodeposition coating is provided by containing (A) 1-40 pts. wt. water dispersion of a urethane resin having 2,000-12,000 number-average molecular weight and obtained by reacting (a) a polyisocyanate, (b) a polyol and (c) a diol having a tertiary amino group in its molecule, in its solid portion, based on 100 pts. wt. total of the solid portions of a base material resin and curing agent, and preferably,≥50 wt. % of the polyol (b) is a polyester polyol and/or polyether polyol.
