COMPOSITION FOR SHOTCRETE HAVING EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE USING METAKAOLIN

A shotcrete composition with excellent mechanical properties is provided to show superior compression strength, bending strength, etc. and to inhibit falling off of the shotcrete while improving long term durability by using metakaolin in fine powder form as an admixing agent as well as alkali-free accelerating agent. The shotcrete includes, in 1m^2 of the shotcrete: 500 to 600kgf of coarse aggregate with the largest dimension of 10 to 15mm; 1,000 to 1,200kg of fine aggregate; 300 to 450kgf of cement; water with a ratio of water to cement ranging from 40 to 60wt.%; 4 to 10wt.% of liquid accelerating agent; and 3 to 10wt.% of metakaolin admixing agent. The metakaolin is contained in an amount of 4 to 8wt.%. The shotcrete further includes 4 to 10kgf of high performance water reducing agent per 1m^2 of the shotcrete.
