In the method of drying a wet polymer, use is made of expansion type extrusion drying means, in which while extruding the wet polymer, carbon dioxide is charged. When this method is employed, in the drying of wet polymer, any load power fluctuation of the drying means can be stabilized and reduced while ensuring excellent drying performance, thereby attaining a productivity enhancement.
