<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing fermented soybean paste and soy sauce each added with Clostridium butyricum having high improving effect of intestinal bacterial flora. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the fermented soybean paste and the soy sauce comprises using Clostridium butyricum which is cultured and raised for a fixed time in a specific environment (control of correlation between temperature and hydrogen ion concentration, and a periodic speed, and correlation between the kind and concentration of a medium) after forming spores, and including the live bacteria or killed bacteria of Clostridium butyricum, and cultured liquid and cultured extract in the product.
