PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial piston pump of which capacity is variable and a power transmitting device of a vehicle provided with the pump. SOLUTION: The multi-stroke type axial piston pump 7 reciprocates a piston provided in a cylinder chamber 41 in a direction of an axial line Ax1 by a cam unit 13 for integrally rotating with an input shaft 6. The cam unit 13 is provided with a fixed cam member 51, having a cam face contactable with a roller 50, capable of integrally rotating with the input shaft 6 while movement in the axial line direction is restricted and two movable cam members 53, 55, having the cam face capable of contacting with the roller 50, capable of integrally rotating with the input shaft while movable in the axial line direction. A rugged difference of the cam face of the fixed cam member 51 is smaller than a rugged difference of the cam faces of the movable cam members 53, 55. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
