PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ankle supporter by which danger of damage of the ankle ligament accompanied by walk is avoided by protecting the ankle ligament during usual walk and further helping its function. SOLUTION: The ankle supporter includes a cylindrical main body 11, stretching force reinforcing units 20, 30 and a belt unit for putting the supporter on and off. The cylindrical main body 11 has an insertion opening 40 for inserting a leg L, a tiptoe-exposing portion 12 for exposing the tiptoe of the foot inserted from the opening and a heel-exposing portion 13 for exposing the heel of the foot, surrounds around the ankle from the shell part of the foot, and comprises a stretchable material. The stretching force reinforcing units 20, 30 are arranged along both sides of the outside and inside of the main body at positions overlapping the ankle ligament of the foot.
