PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently accomplish various functions for call processing, fraud detection, and the like in a telecommunications network system. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a system for controlling and operating services for a telecommunications network. In particular, the present invention relates to an architecture and a method for a system of service control and operation elements. The system communicates with a plurality of interconnected telecommunications networks via a switching or signaling subsystem. The system provides and controls various functions of the telecommunications network. As their functions, for example, there are call processing and routing, automatic fault detection and correction, interactive service provision to clients, fraud detection and control, network abuse pattern identification, collection of data relating to call activities in respective network elements, and creation of a record of each call generated within the network can be cited.
