PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic luminescent display and a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: This organic luminescent display includes a substrate, one or more thin-film transistors formed on the substrate, an insulating film that is disposed so as to cover the thin-film transistors and has a via hole and a groove, a first electrode that is arranged on the insulating film and electrically connected to the thin-film transistors through the via hole, a pixel defining film that is arranged on the first electrode and the groove and has an opening for exposing the first electrode, an intermediate layer that is electrically connected to the first electrode through the opening and has an organic luminescent layer, and a second electrode formed on the intermediate layer.
