<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assign an optimal print job by considering other jobs than print functions such as a copying function or facsimile sending and receiving functions, and calculating a processing time for a print jobs throughout the same network. <P>SOLUTION: Regarding job queue information for each of the functions on a complex machine 1, the information for the print job held on a print function job queue storing part 12 is captured by a job management part 22 for performing monitoring, managing, and the like, for the print job existing on the same network 3. The print job is assigned to the appropriate complex machine 1 or the print processing device 4. In doing this, not only the print job information on the print function job queue storing part 12 but also the job information on the job queue for all the functions existing on the complex machine are captured.
