<p>A time-of-flight (TOF) camera apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a light output unit outputting patterned light; a light input unit including a plurality of pixels which individually include a first reception unit and a second reception unit, and receiving input of the light reflected by an object after the light is outputted from the light output unit; and a calculation unit calculating a distance to the object by using the difference in amount of the light inputted into the first reception unit and the second reception unit. The pattern of the patterned light depends on at least one from the arrangement, the area, and the shape of the pixels of the light input unit.</p> |
