<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a disinfection and sterilization agent, with which photocatalytic titanium oxide reaction is used as a safe, secure, rapid and inexpensive means. <P>SOLUTION: The whole or a part of a material to be washed including an endoscope is immersed in or sprayed with a combined suspension mixed with a photoexcited titanium oxide so that the photocatalytic titanium oxide is brought into contact with pathogenic microbes lurking in any place, the pathogenic microbes are inactivated to give disinfection and sterilization effects. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
