The present invention relates to a system for securing a side and rear view of a vehicle. The system of the present invention includes: a speed sensor for sensing a traveling speed of the vehicle; a rain sensor for sensing rainfall; a control unit for generating a side mirror control signal or a photographing unit driving signal on the basis of the traveling speed sensed by the speed sensor or the rainfall sensed by the rain sensor; a side mirror which controls an angle of a mirror housing surrounding a mirror for securing the side and rear view in accordance with the side mirror control signal, when the side mirror control signal is received from the control unit; a photographing unit which photographs an image as to a side and a rear of the vehicle, by being operated when the photographing unit driving signal is received from the control unit; and a display unit which is located in the vehicle, and displays the image photographed by the photographing unit. |
