The present invention provides a communication interface security system for a computer, including a security module and the computer. The purpose of the present invention is to prevent a third party from inputting illegal data or command into the computer, or from illegally leaking data from the computer by allowing only an authenticated peripheral device to access the computer through an authenticated path. The security module has embedded unique information, and communicates with the computer at the front end and communicates with the peripheral device at the back end, so as to connect the computer and the peripheral device. The computer includes: a communication unit for providing a communication interface with the security module; an operating system unit which communicates with the peripheral device through the communication unit, and controls operations of components constituting the computer in order to process supportable functions; and a security function unit which allows a communication function of the communication unit, and also allows the peripheral device and the operating system unit to communicate through the security module in the case that the unique information is the same as authentication information previously stored after the unique information is requested from the security module connected to the communication unit. |
