BLACK INK FOR INKJET RECORDING, INK SET, AND INKJET RECORDING METHOD USING THIS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a black ink for inkjet recording that gives an excellent black image density in a short drying time and blurs little between a black image and a color image, even when the difference in time between printing with the black ink and printing with the color ink, and an ink set for inkjet printing and an inkjet printing method using the black ink.

SOLUTION: The inkjet black ink contains at least water, a water-soluble organic solvent and a self-dispersing carbon black. The volume-average diameter of the dispersing particles is 85-115 nm. Among the dispersing particles in the ink the volume of the particles having particle diameters ranging from 0.5 to 1.0 μm is 0.001-0.03% of the volume of the ink. The ink set for inkjet recording and the inkjet recording method using the black ink are also presented.
