A framework comprises a plurality of threedimensional components, each component including a frame with four corners, the components being interconnected at the corners of the frames. In Fig. 1 upper and lower square frames are formed by bars welded to connecting members 2, the frames being connected by a lattice 4. Adjacent components A, A 1 , are connected by bolts 6 extending through diagonal holes in members 2. In Fig. 5 (not shown) upper frames are formed from X- shaped and L-shaped members. In Fig. 8 (not shown) zig-zag arrangements of bars are joined together. In Fig. 11 (not shown) pyramids have their base frames and their apices interconnected. |
