<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxyfluoride in which good conductivity of the oxygen ion can be obtained even at the low temperature of 500-700°C and a solid electrolyte or the like made of that oxyfluoride. <P>SOLUTION: The oxyfluoride contains at least lanthanum La in the cationic part and contains florine F and oxygen O in the anionic part, and the ratio of the anion to the cation is 2.3 to 2.5. By making the ratio of the anion part to the cation part 2.3 to 2.5, the same crystalline structure as the fluorite structure can be maintained even at low temperatures of 500-700°C, and good conductivity of oxygen ions can be obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
