1277331 Winding yarns onto inspection boards VYZKUMNY USTAV BAVLNARSKY 4 May 1970 [5 May 1969 (3)] 21317/70 Heading D1J An apparatus for winding yarns onto an inspection board comprises a reciprocatory yarn distributor 25 and a rotatable inspection board 13 provided with yarn clamping means 38, a drive to the yarn distributor 25 including a set of coaxial stepped driving gears 18 meshing with a bar 24 of the yarn distributor 25, a fork 17 rotatably mounting the gears 18 and adapted to reciprocate along and swing on a driving shaft 16, and a cam 28 for adjusting the position of the fork 17 along the shaft 16. By rotating the lever 31 the cam 28 is caused to move the fork 17 along the shaft 16 to a setting in which the desired one of the coaxial driving gears 18 is aligned with the bar 24. The spring 26 then rocks the fork 17 to a setting in which the selected gear meshes with the bar 24. The gears 18 may be toothed gears or have friction drive surfaces. The clamping means 38 are U-shaped clips that are forced into notches in the board 13, the notches being wedge-shaped so that the yarn can be caught between the side walls of said notches and the U-shaped clips. The apparatus includes a pull-out drawer across which there extends a shaft. Spaced along the shaft and extending radially therefrom are a plurality of package holders. The shaft can be rotated to a setting in which the package holders are lowered into the drawer or to a setting in which the axes of the package holders are directed towards stationary yarn guide eyelets 46. |
