Roll drive for plate leveller

摘要

The problem of installing motors of sufficient power in the small space available between adjacent rolls of a plate leveller is overcome by using smaller motors (e.g. of half-power) at each end of the individual rolls, and universal joints for the drive shafts. Motors, reduction gear and drive shafts may be built up as single units.
