<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the cleaning of a mirror without disassembling a sheet feeder. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet feeder comprises a sheet holding body for holding a number of sheets provided with bar codes; a sucker holding member having two or more suckers for attracting the sheets; a sucker driving means for relatively moving the sucker holding member to the sheet holding body; the mirror mounted on the sucker holding member; a bar code reading means for reading the bar codes through the mirror, and a mirror cleaning means for cleaning the mirror. The mirror 45 mounted on the sucker holding member 22 is pressed to a mirror cleaning tool 10 by use of the sucker driving means, and the mirror 45 and the mirror cleaning 10 are relatively moved to perform the cleaning of the mirror. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
