<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an apparatus capable of delivering a printer output after bookmaking and saddle stitching in which an alternative output similar to an output method desired by a user can be attained by making an alternative output method selectable at the time of outputting data exceeding the number of pages capable of saddling. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus comprises means for inputting data from an external unit, means for converting transferred data into bit map data, and means for storing the bit map data thus converted. The imaging apparatus has a function for printing out the bit map data, a function for delivering outputted data in bookmaking layout, and a finishing function capable of stapling the output sheets in the center and folding them into two. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
