PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calcium-independent new phospholipase A2, to provide a gene encoding the enzyme, and to provide an antibody to the enzyme. SOLUTION: This calcium-independent new phospholipase A2 is, more specifically, the calcium-independent phospholipase A2 having specific three kinds of amino acid sequences, or those wherein at least one amino acid is deleted, substituted by another amino acid, or added. The 2nd gene encodes the enzyme and has a base sequence present in the intron and enabling the transcription initiation of an RNA by external stimulation such as kainic acid stimulation or electric stimulation. The 3rd method for regulating the expression using the gene, and the other organisms each transferred with the gene, are also provided, respectively. |
