End members 1 are freely supported on the shaft 17 and a spring 6 urges the adjacent member against the friction member 15. The end members 1 are a press fit within a cylinder 2 and are identical to stationary members 3 which support the shaft 17. The members 1, 3 and the friction member 15 are preferably formed of a polyamide. Annular portions 12 of the members 1 guide articles being conveyed. |
