THERMOMAGNETIC RECORDING MEDIUM AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermomagnetic recording medium with a magnetic recording layer which shows superior adhesion to a thermal recording layer almost free from a texture fog as well as a manufacturing method or the thermomagnetic recording medium. SOLUTION: The thermomagnetic recording medium is structure of the thermal recording layer containing an electron-donating compound, an electron- receiving compound and an adhesive formed on a support and the magnetic recording layer partially formed by applying a coating liquid for the magnetic recording layer containing a magnetic material compound and an adhesive to the surface of the thermal recording layer and drying the liquid. In the manufacturing method for the thermomagnetic recording medium, an aqueous coating liquid for the magnetic recording layer is used and an organic solvent with a solubility of 1 or more to water (at 20 deg.C) is added to the coating liquid, as one of the means for solving the described consideration.
